Process and Pricing

A few exceptions for 2024...

1. Nominate

All nominations are to be received by 5pm (local time) Friday 31 May 2024.

Nominations to be made via Auscontact website.

2. Online Submission

Once the nomination is purchased and nominee details are provided to Auscontact, each nominee will receive an email containing a URL directing them to the online submission portal. 

All online submissions are to be completed and submitted by 5pm (local time) Friday 31 May 2024.

3. Judging

Judging will be undertaken between 3 June and 5 July 2024.

Interview

Individual Categories
except Rising Star

The Auscontact team will email each nominee to book in an interview time. Nominees are required to be available for 30 minutes for the interview. Auscontact will provide the teleconference information via a calendar invite.

No questions will be made available prior to the interview time. Questions will be based on similar criteria to the online submission. Interviews will be recorded for feedback purposes.

Presentation

Organisation Categories
except Best Collaboration

The Auscontact team will email each nominee to book in a presentation time. Nominees are required to be available for a 40 minute presentation with the judges. The presentation will be held via Zoom. Auscontact will provide meeting information via a calendar invite.

Exceptions

Best Collaboration

At the time of nomination, the Auscontact team will email each nominee a document which outlines their presentation requirements/inclusions. These documents will be created and submitted to the judging panel for review by 14 June. The presentation will not be given live.

4. Winner Announcements

Nominees will attend their local State Excellence Awards Celebration where state finalists and winners for each category will be announced (this excludes National categories).

WA • Friday 2 August, Perth
SA • Friday 9 August, Adelaide
VIC/TAS • Friday 16 August, Melbourne
NSW • Friday 23 August, Sydney
QLD • Friday 30 August, Brisbane

State Winners will proceed as National Finalists to the National Excellence Awards Celebration in Brisbane on Friday 15 November.
These State Winners will receive complimentary entry to the celebration event. Their organisations will organise travel and accommodation to attend.

5. Feedback

All nominees will receive a feedback report at the conclusion of the 2024 Excellence Awards program (excepting Rising Star category). The report will include the nominee’s performance compared to other nominees highlighting areas where the nominee performed well plus, where opportunities for improvement exist. The report includes the recording of the interview or presentation if applicable.
